CHALLENGE

The challenge was to optimize part search usability and create a user-friendly and good looking site for parts selling online store. The previous site had a lot of issues with the search and categorization of parts. Also, the client wanted to make the store locator more obvious for the user.

SOLUTION

First of all, I conducted competitors research and interview with stakeholders. I suggested a few ideas on how we can simplify search and implemented it on wireframes. After wireframe was approved I created UI design of the home page where I added advanced part finder and My Garage feature. These UI elements help to optimize parts search. Also, I created the topper configurator which helps built a topper on the car in 3D and to request a quote from the nearest diller.
